Divyesh Rohit, TechFab India & Deeraj Kumar Reddy, TechFab India
Bio :

Dr. Divyesh Rohit is a Ground Improvement Specialist at TechFab India Industries Ltd. He has extensive experience in designing ground improvement systems using geosynthetics. He is also involved in the development and internal testing of new products. Dr. Rohit also has extensive experience in liquefaction-induced flow slides, integrated geophysical investigations and rainfall-induced landslides, which is evident in his research publications.
Experiences:
•Business Development Executive TechFab India Industries Ltd.
• Post-doctoral Fellow – Kyushu University, Japan
• Geotechnical Engineer - Radise India Private Ltd.
• Research Assistant - Indian Institute of Science Bangalore

Dedicated Civil Engineering Graduate with a decade of hands-on experience in the specialized field of geosynthetics. A blend of technical proficiency and commercial insight, I have enhanced my expertise in the strategic application of geosynthetics within the domains of Road Pavements, Retaining Structures, and Hydraulic Structures. My professional journey commenced in 2014 at Maccaferri Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where I spent four years, passionately immersing myself in the realm of geosynthetics, with a particular focus on Hydraulics and Pavement applications.
Professional Journey:
• Maccaferri Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (2014 - 2018): At the outset of my career, I embarked on an enriching journey at Maccaferri Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where I laid the foundation for my geosynthetics expertise. Over four years, I delved into the intricacies of Hydraulics and Pavement applications, cultivating a solid technical foundation.
• Techfab India: Subsequently, I transitioned to Techfab India, making pivotal contributions to the development of the Pavements division. My role involved the confluence of technical innovation and marketing strategies, aimed at driving the adoption of geosynthetics in road pavements.
Noteworthy Achievements:
• Contributor to Codal Guidelines: During my illustrious career, I have played an integral role in shaping industry standards. I was actively involved in the formulation of Indian Roads Congress codal guidelines, notably contributing to IRC SP 59:2019 - "Guidelines for use of Geosynthetics in Road Pavements and Associated Works" and IRC SP 113:2018 - "Guidelines for Flood Management Works for Highway Engineers." These guidelines have had a far-reaching impact on the utilization of geosynthetics in infrastructure projects.
• Research and Publications: My passion for geosynthetics extends beyond the professional realm. I have been a driving force in numerous research initiatives, championing the innovative use of geosynthetics. My insights have found their way into the pages of esteemed publications such as Construction Technology Magazine, Industry Outlook Magazine, and Geoxchange Magazine, where I've authored articles shedding light on the invaluable role of geosynthetics in enhancing road pavements and railway formations.
